The Mentorship Committee has been active over the past two months. November is Mentor Month at the GRBC, with a particular emphasis on new players with Intermediate Players. Twenty-five experienced players have agreed to spend a day per week in November playing with a new(er) player. The purpose is the have players get to know each other, to offer play and bidding tips as requested and to introduce players to a more advanced game. Mentorship often carries on after the prescribed month, and if a player was not involved, but would like to be involved, contact Cheryl Kipp ([email protected]).
